Bill and Doreen Quinn’s Estate-Plan Gift Creates Their Fordham Legacy and Endows Scholarship
One of six children, William F. Quinn commuted to Fordham from his family home in Flushing, Queens. Borrowing and working his way through college, Bill graduated in 1969 with a degree in accounting and began his career at Arthur Young & Company. In 1970 Bill married his wife Doreen, whom he met at The Ramskeller.
Strong proponents of education, Bill and Doreen have established an endowed scholarship for undergraduate students at Fordham and have created their legacy by including Fordham in their estate plan.
In 1979 Bill’s career with American Airlines moved the Quinns and their four young children to Arlington, Texas. Over four decades with the company, Bill served as VP and controller for Sky Chefs and assistant treasurer of American Airlines, and in 1986 he founded American Beacon Advisors to manage the pension and cash assets of American Airlines and other clients.
Please consider joining Bill and Doreen by establishing your legacy in joining Fordham’s 1841 Society.
